GI-MAP testing

A stool investigation used selectively to better understand the gut and microbial terrain.

What it looks at

GI-MAP can provide information about selected microbial markers and digestive function. It is one source of evidence, not a diagnosis in isolation.

Collection

When appropriate, a take-home collection kit and instructions are arranged. Interpretation takes place in a consultation after the laboratory report returns.

What follows

Findings are considered beside symptoms, diet, prescriptions and other results to determine whether they change the plan.

The next step

If you are unsure where to begin, a consultation gives the whole picture room to emerge.
